Minimum Admission Standards

Placement testing will be required for all new students in grades K-8.

Educational records must be reviewed before admission is finalized.  Students may be admitted conditionally while awaiting transfer of records.

Grande Ronde Academy is unable to meet the needs of I.E.P (Individual Education Plan) students or students with serious behavior problems.

Registration Procedure

  • Contact the school for a registration packet and to set up an appointment for a school tour.
  • Make an appointment for an interview and testing.
  • Have copies of your child's birth certificate and immunization records.

Payment Schedules

Tuition can be paid in a lump sum or on a 9-12 month payment plan.  If paid in a lump sum, the full tuition payment, less a 3% discount, is due on August 1st.  For those selecting a monthly payment plan, tuition is payable in advance on the first day of each month, beginning June 1st for the 12 month plan, July 1st for the 11 month plan and August 1st for the 10 and 9 month plans.  The first month’s tuition payment is non-refundable.   Invoices will be mailed in the summer months and sent home in the last Tuesday of the month packet during the school year.

Book Fee

Book fees cover the cost of consumable student books, reading books, teacher editions, and other miscellaneous teaching aids for the classroom.  Book fees are non-refundable.  You will be charged for lost or damaged books.

Late Fee

A late fee of $25.00 will be assessed on all accounts not paid by the 10th of each month.  

Testing Fee

A one time fee of $10.00 will be charged to cover the cost of testing for new students.

Recruitment Incentive

A $100.00 incentive will be applied to tuition payments for any family who recruits another student to GRA.  The student must still be enrolled on October 1st of the year they started at GRA.  The recruitment incentive will be applied to the recruiting family’s tuition on October 1st.

Scholarships

FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for GRA for the upcoming school year.  Families apply through FACTS for scholarship assistance.  Forms and information are available from the GRA office.
